Your new company
Finding the right role takes careful consideration – and we’re lifelong partners that can help you on your journey towards success. Here, with you every step of the way, we can connect you with opportunities that match your priorities and goals. Because at Hays, we’re working for your tomorrow.
You will be working for a market leader that has exclusive partnerships with schools across Canterbury, Kent.
Hays has various teaching opportunities with our Partnership Schools across the Canterbury area. These opportunities are on a permanent, long-term or daily supply cover basis. Due to an increase in demand from schools in your local area, we are looking for experienced primary teachers to take up the multiple positions we have available.
Your new role
You will have the opportunity to work in a role that is flexible around your needs and teaching style. Working for Hays will enable you to work on a full-time or part-time basis to suit your commitments. As a Hays Teacher, you will be able to work in a variety of schools, from small mixed-form village schools to large, multi-form entry schools.
What you'll need to succeed
To be a Primary Supply Teacher, you will need qualified teacher status or be working towards your induction year. You should have recent classroom experience within the last five years and be familiar with recent curriculum changes. You should be a creative and positive teacher who can adapt to new environments and demonstrate professionalism at all times. Strong classroom management skills and good communication skills are essential for liaising with TAs and school staff.
What you'll get in return
You will be paid a competitive daily wage based on your experience and responsibilities, with holiday pay accrued and available for withdrawal at any time of the year. You will receive free, up-to-date safeguarding training, and have the option to join our ‘guarantee pay scheme’. Working with your own personal primary teaching consultant who specialises in Kent, you will enjoy placements in various primary, infant, and junior schools. Additionally, you can earn £250 vouchers for each colleague you refer to Hays who secures work.
