Salary
: £27,313 (£14.16 per hour) + van, fuel card, all PPE and test equipment provided.
Working Pattern:
Temporary Role| Full Time | 37 Hours a week
What will I be doing in this role?
In a typical day, your role will involve you to;
* Undertake electrical compliance works, primarily electrical equipment testing but in addition may be required to undertake emergency lighting testing;
* Assist in various other electrical compliance works, all following customer's scope, specification and instruction, as well as guidance and instructions from Project Managers/Technicians in a safe and timely manner and to a high quality standard.
* Carry out electrical equipment testing without immediate supervision in a safe, efficient and economical manner
* Liaise with Clients, sub-contractors and suppliers as required.
What do I need to be successful in the role?
* Must have obtained a City and Guilds 2377 inspection and testing of electrical equipment certificate or equivalent
* Good knowledge of industry best practice and regulations (e.g. safety and electrical regulations)
* Understanding of safe behaviours on sites to drive a positive safety culture
* Good communication skills
* Good time management
* Ability to work in a team/be a team player
* Ability to work under pressure on projects
* Have good attention to detail
* Ability to deliver works to a high quality standard
* Structured and logical problem solving on site projects
