Freelance Trainer
Commitment: Project-based and Flexible
Reporting to: Programmes Manager
Fee: £150 – £600 per day (based on experience)
Location: Remote (with occasional in-person delivery)
Key Responsibilities
* Programme Design:
o Develop training curricula tailored to the needs of different programme levels (pre-startup, startup, scaling, and high-growth).
o Ensure alignment with DiNN’s evidence‑based methodologies and goals.
o Incorporate best practices in adult learning, professional education, and inclusive pedagogy.
* Training Delivery:
o Facilitate engaging, interactive sessions (virtual and in‑person).
o Use a variety of training methods (workshops, case studies, action learning, simulations) to ensure knowledge retention and practical application.
o Create a safe, inclusive learning environment that encourages participation and collaboration.
* Evaluation and Feedback:
o Measure learning outcomes through post‑session evaluations and participant feedback.
o Adapt and improve session content based on evaluation data and participant needs.
* Collaborative Engagement:
o Work with the Programme Manager and other trainers to ensure cohesive content delivery.
o Share insights and lessons learned to inform programme improvements.

Essential Skills And Experience
* Training Expertise:
o Proven experience in designing and delivering professional training sessions (5+ years preferred).
o Familiarity with adult learning theories and education best practices.
* Subject Matter Knowledge:
o Expertise in one or more of the areas listed above.
o Awareness of challenges faced by Black‑led and Global Majority organisations is a strong advantage.
* Facilitation Skills:
o Ability to deliver engaging, accessible, and practical training to diverse participants.
o Skilled in managing group dynamics and encouraging active participation.
* Technical Skills:
o Proficiency with digital training tools (Zoom, online whiteboards, learning management systems).
o Capability to develop high‑quality training materials and resources.

The freelancer will not be directed or controlled on how they deliver their work beyond agreeing on the required outcomes and ensuring alignment with the terms of the contract and project objectives. This relationship is strictly that of a service provider and client.
