# Claims Validation Intelligence ResearcherRegion: MidlandsLocation: Stratford-upon-AvonContract type: Fixed Term ContractReference number: CSDI04201Working pattern: Full-time (Part-time hours considered)Salary: Circa £35,000 + 10% annual bonus + benefits package## Claims Validation Intelligence Researcher* Join one of the UK’s leading financial services companies, helping us identify, research and reduce insurance fraud via intelligence resources * Further develop your Claims Fraud and/or Intelligence background within a 12-month fixed term contract role, joining a supportive and customer-focused team * Hybrid working: up to 80% homeworking on offer, with the other 20% from either our Stratford-upon-Avon or Bristol offices## About the roleAs a Claims Validation Intelligence Researcher, you’ll play a pivotal role in supporting our Claims Validation Intelligence Team and Handlers to tackle claims fraud. Using advanced intelligence research methods and the Group Counter Fraud System (GCFS), you’ll gather, assess, and report on intelligence from a wide range of sources to enhance suspicious claims investigations. You’ll produce accurate, easy-to-use reports to help proactively and reactively identify fraud threats, conduct intelligence gathering and profiling, and contribute to the development of market-leading intelligence services. You’ll also ensure compliance with statutory regulations, best practice, and NFU Mutual’s Counter Fraud Strategy, while maintaining effective relationships across the business. As part of our commitment to continuous improvement, you will also play a key role in adopting and integrating new systems designed to enhance our team’s capabilities and effectiveness. Collaboration is key in this role, and you will build and maintain strong relationships with counter fraud colleagues and other business areas to ensure the delivery of objectives.## About youWith experience in claims fraud or intelligence research, you bring strong analytical and research skills, a critical and logical mindset, and a collaborative approach. You’ll also be confident in gathering and analysing information from both open and closed sources, and producing clear, actionable reports in relation to tackling fraud. You’ll thrive in a team environment, communicate effectively, and continuously seek improvement. Experience with Excel, and Power BI is desirable, as is prior work in customer service or regulated environments. You’ll also demonstrate effective time management and influencing skills. Additionally, you have: * Strong analytical and research skills, with experience identifying, gathering, and analysing information from open and closed sources. * Excellent critical thinking and report writing abilities, capable of producing clear, logical, and detailed recommendations. * Proficiency in written and verbal communication, with the ability to engage and influence stakeholders effectively. * Strong time management, collaboration, and stakeholder engagement skills, with a commitment to continuous improvement and adopting new systems. * Experience with Excel and Power BI is desirable At NFU Mutual, we support an inclusive workplace and value all the differences that make us unique.
