We are seeking to appoint an experienced Doctor at Specialist Clinical Fellow grade (ST4+) in Emergency Medicine. This post is 75% clinical and 25% non‑clinical.
Responsibilities
* Provide clinical care on daytime, evening and night shifts in the Resus, Majors, Minors and Paediatric ED.
* Perform initial assessment, resuscitation and emergency procedures for acutely ill or injured patients.
* Lead the department overnight, working closely with the Nurse-in-charge and supporting junior doctors.
* Participate in a 24‑hour rota with colleagues and maintain up‑to‑date knowledge of relevant practice areas.
* Engage in non‑clinical administration as required to support service delivery.
Qualifications
* Minimum 7 years of Emergency Medicine experience after graduation.
* Completed Foundation Training programme.
* Minimum of 24 months working as a Doctor in the NHS.
* Full GMC registration at time of application.
