Job Overview
This is a major UK business, a leader in its field with several thousand employees, operating in a highly environmentally conscious sector. The business is looking to recruit a 2‑4 PQE Commercial Lawyer to take a lead role on the business’s key commercial contracts with its main customers.
Responsibilities
* Leading on a range of commercial contracts, including customer‑facing and supplier‑facing agreements.
* Assisting on corporate finance transactions.
* Providing legal advice to all levels of the UK business and managing key internal stakeholders such as the bids/tenders team.
* Managing external legal counsel.
* Advising on general legal & compliance matters.
Qualifications
Must be a 2‑4 PQE commercial lawyer with significant commercial acumen and experience in negotiation in a customer‑facing/sales‑driven environment.
Location and Working Arrangements
The business is headquartered in the East Midlands and requires commitment to 3 days per week in the office.
