We’re currently recruiting on behalf of a local authority for a Business Support Officer to join their Children’s Services team.
In this varied and rewarding role, you'll be at the heart of supporting children, young people, and families by providing essential business and administrative support to ensure the smooth operation of the service. If you’re highly organised, detail-oriented, and confident handling a wide range of administrative tasks, we’d love to hear from you.
Key Responsibilities:
* Act as the first point of contact for service users, staff, and external professionals.
* Provide information and advice to help individuals access Children’s Services and relevant partner organisations.
* Support the delivery of specific projects, tasks, and case audits.
* Collate, analyse and present performance data to aid service evaluation.
* Provide a full range of administrative support including minute-taking, document preparation, diary management, and meeting coordination.
* Undertake research and information gathering in support of service initiatives.
Ideal Candidate:
* Experienced in administrative or business support roles, ideally within a public sector or social care environment.
* Able to manage sensitive information with professionalism and discretion.
* Confident communicator with strong IT skills and an eye for detail.
* Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with competing priorities.
* A team player who is adaptable and proactive.
