Company Description Options Distribution, based in London & Leeds, is a European and global distributor specialising in well-respected, developing brands, including Frizmworks, Pendleton Woolen Mills, Reyn Spooner, and more. We fully operate all our brands ecommerce websites for Europe or beyond, as well as being the owner of The Great Divide, a multi brand retailer stocking the likes of Beams Plus, Drakes, RRL, Orslow, New Balance and more. Location: [Leeds or London] Department: Ecommerce / Digital Retail Reports to: Head of Brand and Retail Job Overview We are looking for an experienced Ecommerce Manager to oversee the day-to-day trading and administrative performance of our various ecommerce website platforms. The successful candidate will manage our online store profiles and stock, optimise sales and conversion performance, coordinate our paid and SEO marketing and ensure a seamless customer journey from product discovery to post-purchase support including returns. This role requires strong hands-on experience with Shopify, Mailchimp, website merchandising and administration and ecommerce operations. An understanding of how the Swap returns/exchange portal (or similar returns software) works is also a benefit. Key Responsibilities Ecommerce Trading & Website Management Manage the day-to-day trading of the portfolio of ecommerce websites to drive revenue, conversion, and customer engagement. Optimise product merchandising, collections, landing pages, and on-site promotions. Monitor key ecommerce KPIs including traffic, conversion rate, AOV, and revenue. Plan and execute promotional campaigns, seasonal launches, and product drops as guided by the creative and buying team. Shopify Store Management Manage and maintain the Shopify platforms including product uploads, collections, pricing updates, and promotions. Ensure the website is fully optimised across desktop and mobile devices using the tools available on the Shopify platform. Manage integrations and apps used within the Shopify ecosystem. Email Marketing & CRM Manage and execute email marketing campaigns through Mailchimp as guided by the buying team. Build and segment customer audiences to drive targeted marketing campaigns. Monitor campaign performance including open rate, click-through rate, and conversion. Develop automated email flows such as welcome journeys, abandoned cart, and post-purchase campaigns. Returns & Customer Experience Oversee the returns process and ensure it is efficient, customer-friendly, and aligned with company policy on the Swap software system. Monitor return reasons and identify trends to improve product information and reduce return rates. Work closely with operations and customer service teams to resolve issues and improve the customer experience. Performance & Reporting Analyse ecommerce performance using analytics tools weekly and monthly. Produce regular reports on trading performance and campaign results. Provide insights and recommendations to improve sales and customer engagement. Cross-Team Collaboration Work with marketing, product, and operations teams to coordinate campaigns and product launches. Support digital marketing initiatives including paid media, SEO, and social campaigns. Ensure product content, imagery, and descriptions are optimised for conversion. Required Skills & Experience Proven experience managing and trading an ecommerce website. Strong hands-on experience with Shopify. Experience using Mailchimp or similar email marketing platforms. Experience managing ecommerce returns processes. Strong understanding of ecommerce KPIs and digital merchandising. Ability to analyse data and translate insights into actions. Excellent organisational and communication skills. Desirable Skills Experience with ecommerce analytics tools (e.g. Google Analytics). Knowledge of CRO (conversion rate optimisation). Experience with ecommerce apps and integrations within Shopify. Understanding of digital marketing channels including paid search, social, and SEO. Personal Attributes Commercially minded with a strong focus on sales performance. Detail-oriented and highly organised. Proactive problem solver. Customer-focused with a passion for ecommerce.
