Customer Team Leader Job Summary

This role is designed for individuals who have a genuine care for the needs of customers and members. We're seeking an experienced leader to join our team as a Customer Team Leader.


Key Responsibilities:

* Friendly and Thoughtful Service: Provide welcoming, easy, helpful, and thoughtful service every day, often taking ownership for managing the store and handling challenging situations.
* Team Development: Develop your team's capabilities through coaching and training, fostering an inclusive culture where everyone's voice is valued and respected.
* Store Operations: Ensure the store remains safe, legal, and fully operational, managing diligence checks and stock accuracy to make shopping a great experience for our customers.
* Support Store Manager: Deputise when the Store Manager is not working and deliver various HR processes, lead the way in introducing new products and services in your store.

As a Customer Team Leader, you'll be part of a friendly team that's dedicated to helping our customers. You'll be responsible for leading the store team – coaching and supervising our Customer Team Members and deputising for the Store Manager, while also delivering great customer service and performing a wide range of other tasks around the store.


Requirements:

* A Genuine Care for Customers and Members: You must have a genuine care for the needs of customers and members.
* Leadership Skills: You should have excellent leadership skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with customers and colleagues.
* Strong Organisational and Problem-Solving Skills: You should have strong organisational and problem-solving skills, with the ability to strike a balance between leading and supporting your team and rolling up your sleeves on the shop floor.
* Desire to Learn and Grow: You should have a desire to learn, grow and develop your leadership skills.
* Flexibility: You should be flexible to work a range of different shifts.
