The Estate Kilchoan Estate is a cultural and educational enterprise dedicated to restoration, education, and spirituality. Spanning 1,500 acres, the estate is actively restoring natural habitats, developing gardens, and caring for heritage-breed livestock. Daily Operations The estate comprises multiple properties across the site, ranging from the main residence to a newly developed cabin complex accommodating research students, a variety of residencies, and visiting guests. Our team consists of approximately twenty full-time employees working across a range of departments, including gardens, estate operations, buildings and maintenance, administration, and housekeeping. This role is ideal for someone who takes pride in maintaining high standards of cleanliness and presentation. The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring that the estate’s accommodation and shared spaces are kept immaculate, welcoming, and comfortable for the owner, guests, and visitors. Key Responsibilities Cleaning and maintaining guest rooms, living areas, and estate facilities Changing bed linen and managing laundry duties Restocking supplies and ensuring all areas are well presented Reporting maintenance issues promptly Assisting with the preparation of guest arrivals and departures We provide both formal and informal training opportunities, with continuous personal and professional development supported.
