Job Overview
Airbus Helicopters UK Ltd is seeking skilled Non‑Licensed Mechanical Technicians to join our dynamic team. This role offers the chance to transition into aircraft engineering, with training and support to become a helicopter engineer. We invite competent technicians from automotive and other technical vocations to apply.
Responsibilities
* Replacement and installation of mechanical and electrical components as per maintenance schedules and repair requirements.
* Support licensed engineers and technicians in the completion of inspections and repairs (no certifying work).
* Work closely with licensed engineers, fitters, and other team members to ensure the smooth operation of aircraft maintenance tasks.
What You’ll Bring
* Essential: Enthusiasm for aviation, a desire to learn and adapt, good manual skills and the ability to work methodically to instructions. Must adopt a safety‑focused mindset because the lives of passengers and crews depend on competent maintainers.
* Desirable: Experience within aviation.
* Knowledge & Skills: A BTEC/NVQ L2 engineering qualification or equivalent. Proven ability to work with technical instructions and apply them safely, efficiently and effectively.
* Passion for Excellence: Excellent work ethic and willingness to go the extra mile to ensure the job is done right.
