About the role

The Blender will be responsible for undertaking blending, production and machine operation activities safely, efficiently, and in a timely manner to support achievement of the Company’s business objectives.


Responsibilities

* Perform production and warehousing activities, including cleaning, batching, mixing, packing, and labelling, in line with SOPs.
* Weigh, measure, and process raw ingredients; load mixers/hoppers; conduct quality checks against batch sheets.
* Safely operate manufacturing machinery and forklifts for loading/unloading raw materials and finished goods.
* Complete production records such as batch sheets, dockets, monitoring logs, and stocktake documents accurately.
* Conduct equipment inspections, calibration, and cleaning to maintain safe, efficient operations.
* Undertake product sampling for laboratory analysis within set procedures.
* Support local deliveries and pickups when required.
* Maintain compliance with company policies, health, safety, and environmental standards at all times.
* Stay alert to hazards, take corrective action, and promptly report abnormal conditions to management.
* Actively contribute to teamwork, communicate clearly, and provide feedback to support continuous improvement.


Qualifications and Experience:

* Current Forklift and MR/MR-B Licence.
* 2+ years’ experience in equipment operation/production.
* Ability to read formulas and mix/weigh ingredients accurately.
* Strong maths skills (measurements/weights).
* Experience in fast-paced manufacturing environments.
* Able to lift 15–20kg safely.
* Solid OH&S knowledge and safe work practices.
* Flexible with overtime when required.
* Good communication, time management, and teamwork skills.
* Reliable, proactive, and committed to compliance.
