Job Title: Contract Manager Location: Commercial Site – ideal candidate is within a commutable distance to Leicester Salary: Up to £56,000 Employment Type: Full-time, Permanent Overview: We are working with a leading facilities management provider to recruit an experienced Contract Manager for a prestigious Commercial site within easy reach of Leicester. This is an exciting opportunity for a results-driven and service-focused leader to take ownership of a high-profile contract and manage a dedicated on-site team. Key Responsibilities: * Full responsibility for the day-to-day operations of the site * Oversee planned preventative maintenance (PPMs) and reactive maintenance activities * Manage and support a team consisting of 6 Engineers and 1 on-site Administrator * Ensure all compliance, health & safety, and statutory requirements are met * Maintain strong client relationships and ensure service delivery exceeds expectations * Drive operational efficiency, cost control, and continuous improvement on site * Manage subcontractors and ensure work is delivered to high standards What We’re Looking For: * Proven experience in a Contract Manager or similar leadership role within facilities/building maintenance * Strong knowledge of hard FM services, including PPMs and reactive maintenance * Excellent organisational, communication, and client-facing skills * Experience managing multi-skilled engineering teams in a fast-paced environment * IOSH/NEBOSH certification desirable * Ideally from a trade or engineering background (electrical or mechanical) What’s On Offer: * Competitive salary up to £56,000 * Opportunity to manage a flagship site with autonomy and support * Career development with a reputable FM provider * Supportive team culture and strong operational backing
