Salary: £27,000 - 30,000 per year Requirements: Hyper-V, Windows Server, Exchange, Microsoft 365, Active Directory, File Permissions, Desktop Troubleshooting, Printers, Routers, IP / DNS IT and network knowledge; broad knowledge is desired over a single specific area Knowledge of Microsoft Windows Server is required; Apple macOS and Linux operating systems/servers knowledge is a bonus but not required Experience troubleshooting desktop PC hardware and software issues Experience working within a technical support team environment providing phone and face-to-face technical support Keen interest in technology, computer hardware, and software Ability to learn quickly and use own initiative Self-motivated Ability to work well under pressure Willingness to ask questions and learn when unsure Responsibilities: Provide technical support for IT infrastructure for multiple customers in different industries Support our telecoms customers as we will provide training Visit customer sites regularly to perform onsite tasks like installing hardware Develop and maintain good working relationships with customers to promote high levels of service Build, set up, and configure new projects Ensure customer satisfaction by fixing issues promptly and correctly Provide out-of-hours phone support approximately one week every four weeks Meet our commitment to excellent response times Technologies: Active Directory Hardware Hyper-V Support Linux macOS Microsoft 365 Network Windows Office 365 More: At Kixo, we are a small, friendly, and fun-loving company dedicated to providing personal IT support and services to a diverse range of customers across the UK and Europe.
