Family Solicitor – Locum (3+ PQE)
North Yorkshire, GBP 45‑50 per hour, hybrid, on-going assignment. An opportunity for an experienced solicitor to support a highly regarded firm on a locum basis.
Job Overview
* Seeking a full‑time Locum Family Solicitor who is a Legal Aid Supervisor to join the team on a locum basis.
* The role will involve handling a Care / PLO caseload, alongside some Private Children matters.
* The work will be predominantly Legal Aid, with a smaller proportion of privately funded private children cases.
* The locum must be able to run their own caseload independently and undertake their own advocacy without supervision.
* Office attendance is required 3–4 days per week, with flexibility to reduce to 2–3 days where there are no court commitments.
* Flexible start date with an initial assignment of at least 3 months and potential for extension.
* The role is supported by an experienced legal secretary.
