Richard Irvin an RSK Group company are recruiting for an Apprentice Domestic Gas Service Engineer to join the team based in Inverness, UK. This is a full-time, apprenticeship position.

You will be required to spend block periods at college along with on-the-job training, working alongside a fully qualified Domestic Gas Service Engineer.

Responsibilities:
* Help to carry out annual and interim maintenance visits in compliance with the Gas Safety (Installation and Use) Regulations.
* Help to carry out the installation / replacement of new or existing gas appliances and heat emitters.
* Installation of gas pipework including appropriate tightness / strength testing as required.
* Replacement of heating controls and components as per manufacturer’s instructions.
* Carry out Combustion Performance Analysis to gas appliances as required.
* Fault investigation and diagnosis utilizing manufacturer’s technical literature.
Qualifications and Experience:
* IT Literate
* Good communication skills
* Hard working, punctual, team player and trustworthy.
* Ability to work with minimum supervision.
Salary and Benefits:
* Salary of £13,312 per annum
