ABOUT LATENT DRIVE

We specialise in innovative electrochemical systems including seawater electrolysis, advanced PGM-free catalysts, and scalable solutions for mass hydrogen production. THE ROLE
We are looking for a Production Technician on a 3-month temporary contract, with potential to become a permanent position, to support our production and prototyping work. You'll be hands-on with chemicals, electronics, and mechanical systems, with a primary focus on making small batches of experimental products. You'll play a key role in supporting the scale-up of our technology, helping transition from experimental setups to robust, repeatable production systems.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
·Repeat laboratory processes under supervision, in a consistent, safe, and methodical manner
· Operate and maintain workshop tools and machinery
·Follow health & safety practices and risk assessments
·Assemble prototypes accurately and carefully
·Maintain work area cleanliness and organisation
SKILLS & EXPERIENCE
·Has a hands-on attitude and enjoys working in a production or lab environment
·Is quality-focused and safety-conscious
·Can use hand tools, power tools, and workshop machinery confidently
·Can work independently and collaboratively in a team setting
·Follows instructions methodically and takes initiative where needed
·Shows flexibility and willingness to learn new skills
We don’t necessarily expect applicants to possess all off the skills above but will be interested to hear from you if you are proficient in some and willing to learn others.Previous experience in a workshop, garage or manufacturing environment would be useful.
