We’re seeking a Junior Buyer to join our Procurement team – supporting global projects, developing supplier relationships, and helping to deliver best‑in‑class sourcing across multiple product categories.
This position is for a fixed-term contract for Maternity Cover, looking at covering up to 12-months.
The role is based at our UK Corporate Office on Shearway Business Park in Folkestone, Kent, working 2 – 3 days per week on site, with the remainder working from home.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Support the commercial relationship between Project Management and external suppliers.
2. Manage intercompany brands across a range of categories.
3. Assist the Procurement team with administrative and coordination tasks.
4. Participate in supplier negotiations and attend regular supplier meetings.
5. Run RFQs for projects and support cost/lead‑time updates.
6. Provide price confirmations and support achievement of target COGS.
7. Manage vendor master data in SAP, including PIR creation.
8. Maintain relationships and KPIs with contract manufacturers.
9. Provide excellent customer service to internal departments.
10. Offer cover for Buyers when required.
Education & Experience:
11. Strong Microsoft Excel skills.
12. Understanding of end‑to‑end supply chain principles.
13. Some knowledge of purchasing within Pharma, Food Supplements, Cosmetics or Medical Devices is advantageous (but not essential for the right learner).
14. Experience working with third‑party vendors beneficial.
15. Excellent written and spoken English; French is a plus.
16. Proficient in Microsoft Office; SAP experience desirable.
17. Comfortable working in a multinational, cross‑functional environment.

This role works Monday – Friday, 37-hours per week.
