The Role
As our Building Services Manager (M&E), you will play a key role in overseeing the design, co-ordination, and installation of mechanical and electrical systems across a large-scale residential project. You’ll work closely with project managers, consultants, and subcontractors to ensure all services are delivered to the highest standards, on time and within budget.
Key Responsibilities
* Manage and co-ordinate all M&E services from pre-construction through to handover
* Review and approve technical designs, specifications, and installation plans
* Liaise with consultants, architects, and subcontractors to ensure seamless integration of services
* Oversee on-site installations, ensuring compliance with regulations and quality standards
* Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues during construction
* Monitor progress and report on M&E milestones and risks
About You
To be considered for the role of Building Services Manager, you will need to demonstrate:
* Relevant qualifications in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering
* Minimum 5 years’ experience in building services, ideally within high-end residential or complex refurbishment projects
* Proven experience managing M&E installations on-site
* Strong knowledge of UK building regulations and industry standards
* Excellent communication and coordination skills
* A proactive, solutions-focused mindset
