About Our Partner School
Our partner in Bath is an outstanding provider of education for students aged 5-19 with SEND, including Autism, learning disabilities, communication challenges, and emotional/behavioural difficulties. The school offers a holistic, child-centred approach with a bespoke curriculum focused on life skills, independence, and confidence.
Key Responsibilities
* Support students in the classroom by assisting with learning activities and promoting engagement.
* Provide 1:1 and small group support tailored to each student\'s needs.
* Assist with the implementation of individualised learning plans (ILPs) and ensure adherence.
* Help students develop key life skills, including communication, independence, and emotional regulation.
* Manage classroom behaviour using positive reinforcement and support self-regulation.
* Provide pastoral care and emotional support to students.
* Collaborate with teaching staff and other professionals to meet student needs.
* Assist in monitoring and tracking student progress, offering feedback and supporting assessments.
What We\'re Looking For
* A passion for supporting students with SEND, particularly those with Autism, learning disabilities, and behavioural challenges.
* Experience in education or care settings (preferred but not essential).
* Strong communication skills, patience, and the ability to build positive relationships with students, staff, and families.
* Adaptability to work with a diverse range of students and learning styles.
* Proactive, team-oriented approach to working with colleagues, teachers, and specialists.
* Resilience and the ability to remain calm and positive in challenging situations.
