Locum, Hybrid Working (2 Days Office-Based, 3 days from home - minimal/no patient visits required)
We are currently recruiting for an experienced Duty Occupational Therapist to join a dynamic Social Care team in South London. This is an excellent opportunity for an OT who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys a strong focus on coordination, triage, and clinical decision-making.
Key Responsibilities
* Manage and triage incoming referrals, ensuring appropriate prioritisation
* Liaise with service users, families, and professionals using a variety of communication methods (phone, email, internal systems)
* Make informed decisions to support effective and timely service delivery
* Work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team
Role Details
* Hybrid working: 2 days office-based
* Minimal face-to-face visits (if any required)
* Focus on duty function rather than community visits
* Fast-paced, decision-led role
Requirements
* Qualified Occupational Therapist with relevant registration
* Previous experience within social care or community settings
* Strong organisational and communication skills
* Ability to confidently prioritise workload and make clinical decisions
