The Mounts Medical Centre is looking for an experienced medical secretary to join our busy team. Successful applicants will have good communication and literacy skills, be an experienced, accurate audio typist with knowledgeable about medical terminology.
They will also need to have an understanding of System One and be conversant with C&B referral systems.
Knowledge of Microsoft office is essential. You will also need to have a confident telephone manner and good face to face skills.

Duties and responsibilities for the Medical Secretary role include:
* To prepare medical correspondence and documents through audio typing and word processing
* To be the point of contact for patients over the telephone
* Various other secretarial duties
* Previous experience of working as a Medical Secretary
* Audio and copy typing experience
* Excellent organisation skills
* A competent user of Excel, Word and Outlook
* Ability to work independently as well as in a team
* Accuracy and attention to detail
* Professional telephone manner
