An industry-leading engineering business is looking for an experienced Customer Support Engineer to join their high-performing service team. This is a fantastic opportunity for a technically skilled, customer-focused professional who enjoys a balance of hands-on work, problem-solving, and international travel.
You'll provide expert support for a range of industrial test equipment — from troubleshooting and repairs to commissioning, maintenance, and global on-site visits.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide remote and in-person technical support on electrical and mechanical systems
Diagnose and repair faults down to component level
Conduct commissioning, routine servicing, and customer training globally
Manage warranty claims and documentation via SAP B1
Prepare method statements, risk assessments, and service reports
Feed insights back to design, sales, and production to support product improvement
Maintain compliance with H&S and international trade regulations
Travel globally at short notice, including some weekends and extended stays when required
What You’ll Bring:
Minimum ONC or equivalent in Electrical Engineering
5+ years’ experience in a field-based service engineering role
Strong working knowledge of industrial control systems
Proficiency with Microsoft Office and ERP systems (SAP B1 preferred)
Full UK driving licence and valid passport
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
