We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Support Worker to join our team. Responsibilities
* Assist children with daily activities and personal care as needed.
* Develop and implement individual care plans tailored to each child's needs.
* Provide emotional support and encouragement to promote positive development.
* Facilitate communication between children, families, and other professionals involved in their care.
* Maintain accurate records of progress and any incidents that occur during shifts.
* Engage children in educational and recreational activities to enhance their learning experience.
* Ensure a safe and supportive environment by adhering to health and safety regulations.
* Drive to various locations as required for home visits or community activities.
Qualifications
* Experience working with children is highly desirable.
* A valid driving licence is preferred for transporting children or travelling between locations.
* Background in childcare or related fields is advantageous.
* Strong understanding of care plans and the ability to implement them effectively.
* Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to interact with children, families, and colleagues.
