Due to an increase in workload our client is seeking a Senior Geotechnical Engineer to work at their Midlands branch. Responsibilities Thrive in a dynamic, office-based role (minimum 3 days per week), collaborating closely with project managers and their teams to drive business development, manage key accounts, and ensure adherence to company procedures. Leverage your expertise in geology and geotechnical engineering to support the delivery of projects on time and within budget, while maintaining the highest standards of service. Contribute to the continued growth and development of our talented team, providing training and mentorship to junior staff. Qualifications Qualified to degree level in a geotechnical discipline, with a preference for a Masters degree. Membership of an appropriate professional body, with Chartered Status and RoGEP (or working towards it). Completion of relevant health and safety training schemes, such as CSCS (Manager level), SMSTS, and CDM 2007 Regulations. Required Skills Confident and knowledgeable in various ground investigation techniques, contributing to technical proposals and scoping of contracts. Skilled in writing interpretative reports and providing expert advice to our clients. Adept at presenting technical information at local and regional meetings and conferences. Proficient in the use of borehole log software and data formats, such as AGS 3.1 and AGS 4. Excellent communication and organizational skills, with the ability to work collaboratively across teams.
