Accounts Assistant (12:Month Fixed Term Maternity Contract)

We are looking for an Accounts Assistant to join the finance team at our client on a 12:month fixed term contract to cover maternity leave.
Our client is a highly regarded and award:winning financial services firm.
The Role
This is a varied finance role supporting the day:to:day accounting operations of the business.
Key responsibilities include:
: Processing sales and purchase invoices in Sage
: Bank, sales and purchase ledger reconciliations
: Commission statement processing
: Posting journals, accruals and prepayments
: Supporting payroll processing
: Assisting with VAT returns and monthly reporting
: Maintaining accurate financial records in Sage and Excel
About You
Were looking for someone who has:
: A:level education (or equivalent)
: Ideally be AAT qualified or Part:qualified CIMA or ACCA
: 3+ years experience in a similar finance role
: Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
: Excellent communication skills
