Now Hiring: Service Advisor – Automotive Dealership\n Location: Reading\n Salary: £30,000 Basic | Up to £50,000 OTE\n Contract: Permanent, Full-Time\n System: Pinnacle\n\n(This will be 4 weeks temporary to permament position) \n\nAre you a confident and customer-focused Service Advisor looking to take the next step in your career?\n\nWe’re on the lookout for a professional and experienced Service Advisor to join our dynamic dealership team. If you’ve got a solid background in aftersales, a passion for delivering outstanding customer service, and the drive to maximise service opportunities. We want to hear from you!\n\nWhat You Can Expect:\n\n£30,000 basic salary\nOTE up to £50,000\nFull manufacturer training\nA stable and supportive working environment\nWork with a leading, forward-thinking team\nCareer progression opportunities\nWhat You’ll Be Doing:\n • Using the Pinnacle DMS system to manage service bookings and customer communication\n • Liaising with customers in person, by phone, and via email throughout the service process\n • Carrying out pre-calls to confirm bookings and prepare vehicle handovers\n • Upselling additional work identified during Vehicle Health Checks (VHCs)\n • Updating customers with accurate ETAs, progress reports, and costs\n • Working closely with Vehicle Technicians and the Service Manager to ensure smooth workflow\n • Ensuring all service paperwork is completed to the highest standards\n\nAbout You:\n • Minimum of 2 years' experience as a Service Advisor in a franchised dealership\n • Strong knowledge and hands-on experience with Vehicle Health Checks (VHCs)\n • Proficient in upselling recommended work in a professional, ethical manner\n • Confident and polished in face-to-face customer interactions\n • Experienced using Pinnacle (or other DMS systems)\n • Organised, proactive, and able to work well under pressure\n\nTime to take charge of your career?\n\nJoin our growing network of skilled Service Advisors and experience the benefits of working with a team that truly values your work.\n\nIf this sounds like the kind of Vehicle Technician role you're looking for, we would love to hear from you.
