Priory Lichfield Roadis looking to recruit a Bank RMN to join the team, on an R&R 28 beds, male and female, 18+.
Based in Walsall, West Midlands, Priory Lichfield Road is a rehabilitation service offering both level 1 and 2 care, all set within a modern, purpose-built centre. It is specifically designed to support both males and females who have severe, complex and enduring mental health needs, which might include treatment-resistant conditions.
What you'll be doing
You will be part of a compassionate team who are committed to our patients wellbeing. We take a personalised approach, using proven therapies to help people move forward with confidence and build a healthier, more fulfilling future. You will play a key part in their recovery, assisting qualified staff with the assessment and implementation of individual patient care plans, undertaking routine tasks and activities as directed or delegated to facilitate wellbeing, dignity and treatment of patients.
* Monitor and review Nursing Care plans.
* Evaluate and respond to changes in patient's condition and needs.
* Deal proactively and effectively with suggestions and complaints from patients and their families / carers.
* Contribute to a team approach to patient care in conjunction with all members of the Multi-Disciplinary team
* Participate in regular clinical and non-clinical meetings and attend other meetings as requested

What you'll bring to the role

Qualified Registered Mental Health Nurse (RMN) with active NMC registration, 6–12 months of post-registration experience, and successful completion of a preceptorship programme. Possesses strong knowledge of NMC guidelines, professional practices, and regulatory requirements, with evidence of ongoing professional development. Demonstrates a positive attitude, commitment to change, quality improvement, and the ability to adopt flexible, innovative approaches to practice. Experienced in mental health and learning disabilities care environments, with excellent verbal and written communication skills and a proven dedication to delivering high-quality, person-centred care.
