Role Overview
As a Graduate Transport Planner, you'll support the delivery of high-quality transport planning outputs, contributing to projects across sectors including residential, commercial, infrastructure, and renewable energy. Responsibilities
* Assist in preparing transport assessments, travel plans, and statements to support development applications.
* Undertake data collection, surveys, and initial traffic modelling work.
* Support junction capacity analysis, site access design, and sustainable travel initiatives.
* Produce clear, professional technical reports and contribute to project documentation.
* Collaborate with engineers, planners, and environmental specialists to deliver integrated solutions.
* Liaise with clients, local authorities, and key stakeholders under the guidance of senior staff.
Who We're Looking For / Qualifications
* Recent graduate in Transport Planning, Civil Engineering, Geography, or a related discipline.
* Strong academic background with a clear interest in transport planning.
* Familiarity with transport planning tools/software (e.g., TRICS, TEMPRO, VISSIM, or similar) is advantageous.
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with strong attention to detail.
* Ability to work independently and collaboratively, with confidence to engage with clients and stakeholders.
* Motivation to pursue professional development and professional accreditation (e.g., CIHT, ICE).
