Train The Trade Ltd are recruiting for a Plumbing, Gas and Renewables Trainer & Assessor to join our expanding team. The position is based across two sites, of which are situated in Rayleigh, and Colchester Essex.
Role & Responsibilities:
You will contribute to ensuring a positive learning environment which encourages active participation and enables all candidates to achieve their full potential, through the effective learning and teaching of candidates by assisting in the development, and delivery of all of our courses.
This will involve supporting the Managing Director in the delivery of the department curriculum to the quality and standards required, through an integrated learning experience that supports the candidate journey, delivering first class and high-quality learning in a private setting.
You will teach in the areas of Plumbing, Gas & Renewables, delivering our MLP Gas courses, and ACS Gas courses across both of our centres. The suitable applicant should hold up to date knowledge of plumbing, gas & renewables and have a working knowledge of Microsoft Offices packages.
You will have excellent motivational, communication and organisational skills. It is also desirable, but not essential, that you hold, or are working towards, a professional teaching qualification and IQA (Internal Verification Award).
You:
* Minimum of 5 GCSEs, including Math and English at C (4/5) or above,
* 2 or more Years' experience in training & assessing
* NVQ Level 3 in Plumbing or equivalent
* Assessors Award
* CCN1, CENWAT, CKR1, CPA1, HTR1, MET1
* G3 Unvented
* WRAS Water Regulations
* Energy Efficiency
* Air Source Heat Pumps
* Dealing with candidates face to face, email and on the phone
* Excellent communication skills, and work well as part of a team
* Have a flexible approach as no two days are the same
* Self-motivated and self-confident with the ability to work on own initiative,
* Well, presented, credible and professional,
* You will have a desire for continuous personal and professional development,
* Full UK driving license, no more than 6 points.
Package:
* 5 Day week Monday to Friday 8am to 4pm,
* Starting Salary £40k p/a
