Join our fabulous team at The Plaza and Tallaght Cross Hotels as our Reservations Agent!
You will oversee operations and lead all our teams across these two fabulous hotels, located in South County Dublin.
About The Plaza Hotel
Welcome to The Plaza Hotel Dublin with 122 well-appointed ensuite bedrooms, state of the art conference facilities & excellent cuisine.
Over the last 2 years, the entire interior of the 4-star hotel has been extensively refurbished, now comprising of exciting new eateries. The hotel now offers 122 spacious, comfortable and ensuite bedrooms along with a number of large suites. Two large and naturally lit event spaces, together with 4 meeting suites allow for conferences and events of all sizes, ranging from 5-200 people.
* Responsibilities:
o Greets guests over the phone in a friendly, welcoming and courteous manner,
o Records reservation information accurately on CRM System
o Identifies and records group and transient business codes
o Records and processes deposit information
o Records special billing instructions, approves credit after consultation with Revenue Management
o Records requests for special accommodation and suites,
o Files all reservations in a systematic order for easy referral,
o Identifies commissionable reservations and secures required information
o Informs other departments of VIP arrivals
o Contributes to maximum occupancy and average rate by utilizing yield management
o Maximises customer satisfaction and hotel revenue by promoting hotel restaurants and activities
About The Role
Requirements:
* Outstanding customer service attitude and motivation to please the guest
* Administration experience, using IT systems
* Attention to detail, ability to meet deadlines and being a team play whilst also having the ability to use own initiative
* Fluent in spoken English with excellent writing skills
* Have an excellent level of computer literacy using systems such as Microsoft Office Suite, Opera would be an advantage.
* Previous experience in a similar role would be an extreme advantageous.
