Overview
We are seeking a friendly and professional Receptionist to join our team. The ideal candidate will be the first point of contact for our guests, providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a welcoming atmosphere. This role is crucial in maintaining the smooth operation of our front desk and supporting the overall guest experience.
Responsibilities
* Greet guests warmly and assist them with check-in/check-out procedures.
* Answer phone calls promptly, demonstrating excellent phone etiquette while addressing inquiries and directing calls as necessary.
* Manage reservations and bookings efficiently, ensuring accuracy in all guest information.
* Provide information about hotel services, local attractions, and amenities to enhance guest satisfaction.
* Handle guest complaints or concerns with professionalism, striving for resolution and maintaining a positive experience.
* Maintain an organised reception area, ensuring it is tidy and presentable at all times.
* Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless communication and service delivery.
Qualifications
* Previous experience in a hotel or hospitality environment is preferred.
* Bilingual or multilingual abilities are highly desirable to cater to a diverse clientele.
* Strong interpersonal skills with a focus on guest services and hospitality.
* Excellent phone etiquette and communication skills, both verbal and written.
* Ability to work well under pressure while maintaining attention to detail.
