Job Summary
We are seek an experienced and dynamic Bar Supervisor to oversee our bar operations and ensure a high standard of service and quality. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, a passion for hospitality, and a comprehensive understanding of food and beverage management. This role requires effective team management, culinary experience, and a commitment to maintaining food safety standards.
Responsibilities
* Supervise daily bar operations, ensuring exceptional service and customer satisfaction.
* Manage inventory levels, ordering supplies as needed to maintain stock.
* Train and mentor bar staff in food preparation, serving techniques, and hospitality best practices.
* Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, including food safety standards.
* Develop creative drink menus and oversee the preparation of beverages.
* Collaborate with kitchen staff to coordinate food production and service.
* Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the bar area in accordance with company policies.
* Handle customer inquiries and resolve any issues promptly to enhance guest experience.
* Monitor staff performance, providing feedback and conducting performance reviews as necessary.
Experience
* Proven experience in a bar management role or similar position within the hospitality industry.
* Strong background in supervising teams and managing staff effectively.
* Culinary experience with knowledge of food production techniques is highly desirable.
* Previous restaurant or hotel experience is advantageous.
* Familiarity with food safety regulations and best practices in the kitchen environment.
* Experience as a barista or in a similar beverage-focused role is a plus.
