Job Summary:
As Sales Manager, you will be responsible for increasing revenue, margin, and overall department profitability. Using ongoing data analysis, you will monitor sales, shape business and customer strategy, and track market trends. Your goal is to maintain our leading position with all direct vendors and grow our market share. You will also develop and implement sales strategies to increase sales and share of wallet by vertical, while minimizing erratic sales to avoid brand overstocks.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Sales Strategy and Planning
2. Develop and implement strategic sales plans aligned with company objectives.
3. Analyse market trends, competitor activities, and customer needs to identify growth opportunities.
4. Collaborate with senior management to set and achieve sales targets.
5. Customer Relationship Management
6. Build, maintain, and nurture long-term relationships with key customers.
7. Act as the primary liaison between representatives, customers, and internal teams, providing tailored solutions.
8. Conduct regular face-to-face meetings with key customers to ensure satisfaction and uncover new business opportunities.
9. Sales Execution
10. Oversee day-to-day sales operations and ensure effective execution of sales strategies.
11. Monitor and analyse sales performance metrics, identify areas for improvement, and take corrective action.
12. Collaborate with cross-functional teams for seamless product and service delivery.
13. Customer Focus
14. Ensure a customer-centric approach, delivering exceptional service and solutions.
15. Address customer concerns and escalations promptly, working to resolve issues and build lasting relationships.
Requirements:
16. Proven experience in Print and IT sales, with a track record of meeting and exceeding targets.
17. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
18. In-depth knowledge of the Print and IT industry and current market trends.
19. Strategic thinker with the ability to translate business goals into actionable plans.
20. Strong analytical skills and the ability to interpret data for informed decision-making.
