You'll be joining an established CAMHS Community Eating Disorders Service that's undergoing exciting developments and you'llcontribute to delivering and developing quality care and interventions within this service.

Main duties of the job
As a valued member of our team, you'll play a pivotal role in delivering evidence based interventions within a comprehensive mental health care pathway tailored to young people facing eating disorders. This may be severe in nature and the service is held within Tier 3, allowing us to work closely with our CAMHS Core Community teams.
You'll manage a diverse caseload, alongside other team members and independently, with a focus on assessing and working with individuals who experience an eating disorder but that also may present with a range of other complex needs and difficulties. Additionally you'll offer vital support to the families and carers of young individuals under our care.
Your expertise will contribute to the clinical supervision processes, fostering a collaborative environment for growth and development within our team.
You must have a full driving licence and have permanent access to own transport with appropriate business insurance as this job delivers care and treatment to the county of Somerset. You are able to claim expenses.

* To offer and support yp and families with a systemic approach within a CAMHS eating disorders service.
* Provide assessment and evidence-based interventions and contribute in the management and assessment of presenting risk(s).
* Contribute to the clinical supervision processes of the team, providing supervision for other team members as agreed if appropriate
* Participate in team and service development and evaluation
* Liaison with a wide range of other teams and agencies is central to the role.

* Recognised professional qualification at degree or equivalent level in Nursing, Occupational Therapy or Social work
* Registration with the appropriate professional body
* Knowledge and understanding of mental health disorders and Neurodevelopmental disorders in children and young people, and their impact on both the client group and their families/carers.
Desirable
* Experience of working with children and young people
* Evidence of continuous post-qualifying professional development.
