Spanish Teacher (Maternity Cover)

Contract: Minimum 12-month Maternity Cover
Location: Dunblane, Scotland
An excellent opportunity has arisen for a dedicated and enthusiastic Spanish Teacher to join a respected military school in Dunblane. We are seeking a passionate educator who can inspire learners, deliver high-quality language teaching, and contribute positively to the school community.
Key Responsibilities
* Deliver engaging and effective Spanish lessons across relevant year groups
* Plan, prepare, and assess in line with Curriculum for Excellence standards
* Support pupils' academic progress, wellbeing, and wider development
* Contribute to departmental planning and whole-school initiatives
* Maintain a positive, inclusive, and supportive classroom environment
Essential Requirements
* GTCS registration (General Teaching Council for Scotland)
* Relevant experience teaching Spanish within a school setting
* Strong classroom management and communication skills
* Ability to work collaboratively within a structured and disciplined environment
* Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of young people
Desirable
* Experience working in a military, boarding, or highly structured educational environment
* Willingness to contribute to wider school activities and enrichment programmes
