Receptionist Administrator - Buckfastleigh

If Our client is looking for a professional and proactive Temporary Receptionist/Project Administrator to join them on site in Buckfastleigh. They have a wonderful community ethos, involving people at the heart of everything they do.

The role plays an important part in the administration and smooth running of the charity and requires professional administrative and organisational skills.

Reception & Communication

* Serve as the first point of contact for telephone and email enquiries, ensuring a courteous and professional approach.
* Greet and assist visitors, maintaining a positive and helpful reception environment.
* Sort and distribute incoming mail; manage outgoing correspondence.

Administrative Support

* Organise meetings, prepare agendas, attend sessions, and produce accurate minutes with clear action points and deadlines.
* Maintain and update internal databases and records.
* Support the Business Support Coordinator in ensuring compliance with legal record-keeping requirements.
* Use a range of software tools (e.g., Microsoft Office Suite, SharePoint, Visio, WordPress) to produce documents and presentations.
* Maintain centralised templates and documents, including marketing materials, organograms, spreadsheets, and reports.
* Update the charity's website with vacancies and announcements.
* Assist in creating and scheduling social media content

General Duties

* Participate in supervision meetings and annual appraisals.
* Attend all mandatory training and any additional training as identified through supervision or organisational need.
* Uphold confidentiality in all matters relating to service users, staff, and the charity's operations.
* Demonstrate honesty, reliability, and professionalism at all times.
