SPF Senior Manager - Real Estate Manchester Permanent £90,000 - £110,000 cer Financial are working alongside an international bank who are based in the City of London. They are seeking an SPF Senior Manager to work with them on a permanent basis in the Manchester locale. The responsibilities of the SPF Senior Manager will include: Originate senior structured property debt transactions at appropriate returns. Structure transactions appropriately, including for example exit and bridging loans, and other tailored lending products. Relationship management of property transactions throughout their life cycle. Operate within the Banks controls and procedures. Lead and support contract negotiation processes, ensuring commercially sound and risk-aligned terms are secured. Source debt, equity/mezzanine style transactions, as well as consider joint venture and participating debt opportunities, if within the Risk Appetite Framework of the Bank. Oversee the compilation of credit proposals, transaction due diligence, property analysis, client negotiation, coordinate transaction execution, manage throughout term of the loan and, ultimately, redemptions. Assist with the loans administration of each transaction (to include liaising with the Bank’s professional team). Contribute to the development of the Banks Risk Management Framework, policies and procedures for SPF. Liaise with the Banks Operations and Treasury teams as required, to ensure appropriate account control and liquidity management respectively. Minimise losses, where possible, by identifying mitigations and implementing appropriate strategies on any non-performing loans. Consistently meet or exceed set targets and KPIs, including transaction origination, revenue generation, and portfolio performance metrics. The successful SPF Senior Manager will have: A strong knowledge of structured property finance and related disciplines, with a minimum of 5-10 years previous experience in real estate finance. A proven track record in originating and executing transactions. Familiarity with a range of property lending products, including but not limited to bridging loans, and exit finance. Strong understanding of SPF lending.
