We are currently recruiting for a Class 2 Driver for a client of ours based in Manchester. This is a full-time, permanent position working 45 hours per week across five working days. The role involves early morning starts and occasional overnight work, so flexibility is essential. Due to insurance restrictions, applicants must be 25 or over to drive company vehicles.
About the Role:
Carry out scheduled deliveries to wholesale customers (average 12–15 drops per day)
Operate goods vehicles and ensure timely, safe deliveries
Assist with loading and unloading of vehicles
Occasionally support with order picking and packing
Operate safely within a warehouse and fleet environmentAbout you:
Minimum 3 years’ experience in a similar Class 2 driving role
A valid Class 2 Licence with a clean UK driving record
Physical and mental aptitude for manual and mechanical work
Strong time-management skills to meet delivery schedules
Manual handling experience
Basic IT and database/keyboard skills
Forklift Truck Licence/experience (training can be provided)Benefits:
