Resettlement Support Officer Salary - £35,235 - £39,513 (Grade 6) Hours - 37 Contract type - full time 3- Year Fixed Term To be considered for this position, you must submit a detailed personal statement addressing both the essential and desirable requirements through our recruitment system. Communities, Migration Team are seeking an enthusiastic, passionate, and solution focused individual to join the team supporting New, Migrant, and Transient Communities. The Team support new and migrant communities to settle and thrive in Wolverhampton; ensuring that all our residents benefit from health, economic and social inclusion through access to services, skills, good quality housing, wellbeing support and cohesive communities. Working in partnership with a number of agencies, the team work to resettle and integrate asylum seekers, refugees and migrants into the city, ensuring that they have fair access to the right support, housing and opportunities. The role holder will be a key member of our high paced team, we are looking for someone who is dynamic, passionate and confident in communication, assessment, data and monitoring, but most importantly, a team member who is committed to supporting colleagues to make a difference to the lives of vulnerable people and households. Some roles are agile which enable and empowers employees to maximise their performance and productivity, whilst maintaining a healthy work life balance. Roles with a fixed workstyle work in a fixed permanent council location. Roles with a field workstyle are usually allocation where employees are required to be out working in the community with a minimum requirement for 'touch down' space at any council location. Roles with a flexible workstyle have a flexible base location to meet the needs of the business and employees can work from a mixture of home or any council office, partner/client, or external location, as required to meet service requirements.
