We are looking for an experienced Senior Design Manager with a strong background in school construction projects to join a leading regional construction team. This role will oversee the design, coordination, and delivery of multiple education projects in the South East. Key Responsibilities: Lead and manage design teams for school construction projects, ensuring design intent aligns with project requirements. Coordinate multidisciplinary teams, including architects, engineers, and consultants. Ensure designs comply with statutory regulations, health and safety standards, and client expectations. Monitor project budgets, schedules, and resource allocation. Maintain clear communication with clients, project teams, and stakeholders throughout the design and delivery process. Support the integration of design with construction teams for seamless project delivery. Required Qualifications & Experience: Proven experience as a Design Manager on school construction projects. Strong leadership and team management skills across design disciplines. Excellent knowledge of building regulations, planning, and design compliance. Commercial awareness and experience managing budgets within design projects. Based in, or willing to relocate to, Orpington, Kent. Whats on Offer: Competitive salary of £90,000£100,000.
