5 Axis Laser Setter Operator

Hours: Morning shift
About the Role
We are seeking a skilled 5 Axis Laser Setter / Operator to join a busy Manufacturing team. This is a hands-on role responsible for setting and operating 5-axis laser cutting machinery, producing high-quality components in line with production plans and customer specifications.
This opportunity would suit an experienced operator who takes pride in precision, quality, and safe working practices.
Key Responsibilities
Set and operate 5-axis laser cutting machines to engineering drawings and tolerances
Manufacture components in line with production schedules and build plans
Ensure all parts meet quality standards and customer requirements
Read and interpret engineering drawings accurately
Monitor machine performance and make adjustments where required
Maintain a high level of workmanship and attention to detail
Keep the work area clean, organised, and safe
Report machine faults, quality issues, or safety concerns promptly
Support other tasks and projects as required by managementSkills, Knowledge & Experience
Essential:
Experience operating machinery within a manufacturing environment
Proven ability to set machinery to meet drawing tolerances and specifications
Ability to read and understand engineering drawings
Experience setting or operating 5-axis laser machinery
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
