OverviewWe are looking for a proactive and detail‑driven Sales Administrator to join a growing team in East Lancashire. This role is ideal for someone with strong organisational skills, excellentmunication abilities, and a passion for supporting both the sales function and wider business operations. You will play a key role in ensuring the smooth running of the sales process from initial enquiry through to delivery.
Key Responsibilities
1. Provide administrative support to the sales team, ensuring all tasks arepleted accurately and within deadlines.
2. Process sales orders, quotes, and customer enquiries using internal systems.
3. Maintain and update customer records, pricing information, and product data.
4. Coordinate with internal departments including logistics, finance, and procurement to support order fulfilment.
5. Prepare sales reports, forecasts, and KPIs for management.
6. Handle inbound calls and emails from customers, providing excellent service and resolving queries efficiently.
7. Assist with preparing documentation such as proposals, contracts, and tender submissions.
8. Support the organisation of customer meetings, site visits, and other sales‑related activities.
9. Monitor stock levels, lead times, and delivery schedules where required.
10. Contribute to continuous improvement of processes to enhance efficiency within the sales function.
Skills & Experience Required
11. Previous experience in a Sales Administrator, Customer Service Administrator, or similar administrative role.
12. Strong IT skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).
13. Experience using CRM or ERP systems (, SAP, Salesforce, Sage) is advantageous.
14. Excellent written and verbalmunication skills.
15. High attention to detail with strong accuracy in data entry.
16. Ability to prioritise a busy workload and manage multiple tasks at once.
17. Confident, professional, and accustomedness approach.
18. Problem‑solving skills and the ability to work effectively within a team.
