We are seeking a talented and ambitious Senior Accountant to join our growing accountancy firm in Warwickshire. The Role
As a Senior Accountant, you will play a key role in delivering high-quality accounting, tax, and advisory services to a broad client base. You will take ownership of client relationships, review the work of junior team members, and provide valuable financial and tax guidance.
Key Responsibilities
* Prepare and review statutory accounts for a range of clients.
* Prepare medium-sized company accounts and consolidated group accounts.
* Review and supervise the work of junior team members, providing guidance and support.
* Advise clients on Corporation Tax, Personal Tax, and related compliance matters.
* Build and maintain strong client relationships, acting as a trusted adviser.
* Assist clients with accounting software systems and cloud accounting solutions.
* Present financial information and recommendations clearly and confidently.
* Identify opportunities to improve processes and add value to client businesses.
* Ensure all work is completed accurately and in line with relevant accounting standards and regulations.
About You
Essential Requirements
* ACA, ACCA, or equivalent professional qualification.
* Previous experience within an accountancy practice environment.
* Experience reviewing and supervising the work of others.
* Strong experience preparing medium-sized company accounts and consolidated group accounts.
* Solid understanding of Corporation Tax, Personal Tax, and other key tax matters.
* Strong knowledge of accounting software systems.
* Excellent communication and presentation skills.
* Exceptional attention to detail and organisational abilities.
