Salary £39,200 Based at our Taffs Well depot, located at Unit D, Moy Road Industrial Estate, Taff's Well, Cardiff CF15 7QR Salary of £39,200 Looking for a skilled hands-on role where you can take real pride in your work, and be part of a team that keeps your community moving? W e’re on the lookout for a skilled Bus Body Technician to join our friendly and dedicated team at our Taffs Well depot. You’ll help maintain and repair our fleet to the highest safety and presentation standards, supporting a modern mix of vehicles and ensuring they remain road ‑ ready, compliant, and fit for service as our fleet continues to modernise. What you’ll be doing: Preparing vehicles for repaint and refinishing damaged paintwork Observing and reporting body or structural defects Carrying out modifications and repairs to the vehicle structure and body fittings Cutting, forming, and fitting sheet metal, ply, fibreglass and other materials Fitting panels, windows, doors, mouldings and accessories Using welding equipment for structural repairs Ensuring all work meets health & safety and DVSA standards What we’re looking for: A team player with a strong work ethic and attention to detail Hands-on experience in coachbuilding or vehicle body repair (PSV/HGV preferred) Able to work independently and take initiative Qualified to Level 3 in PSV or HGV Body Repair, either City & Guilds Level 3, or NVQ Level 3, or BTEC equivalent Why join Stagecoach?
