Join us and become a Waterside Leader to help facilitate exciting opportunities in Bradford. We are looking for keen and enthusiastic people who are able to host guided walks for members of the public and community groups. You’ll help thousands of people enjoy the network like never before and contribute to our goal of keeping canals alive.
Walking in the great outdoors can improve both physical and mental health. Our 2,000 miles of canal towpaths offer largely flat, traffic-free routes, taking you from the city into the countryside.
Our aim is to give people confidence to get out walking and enjoy the outdoors safely, helping them become healthier. We need passionate individuals to share their enthusiasm for walking by leading walks in their local area.
You will work with the Task Manager, Walk Assistants, and other Walk Leaders to deliver accessible walks that encourage activity and promote health benefits. We want everyone to have access to short, friendly group walks near Canal & River Trust waterways to help them stay healthy.
This role is ideal for those interested in waterways or looking to develop leadership skills. Find out more about opportunities as a Waterside Leader by applying today.
