Working alongside our partner primary school in Milnrow (OL16), Teaching Personnel are looking to recruit 2 caring and nurturing level 3 teaching assistants starting in September to assist pupils in KS1 and KS2.
* Full-time position Mon – Fri 8:30am – 3:45pm

* Small school with around 150 pupils
Working alongside the existing dedicated SEND team, the class teachers and senior leaders within school, the successful candidate will work to support children who need additional support. The role is suited to an individual who is flexible and adaptable as the role has a great balance between curriculum support and nurturing activities. The staff are a close-knit team who are welcoming and committed to improving the education of the school’s most vulnerable pupils.
TA number 1 will be working 30 hours a week supporting a child in Year 3/4 with his behaviour on a 1:1 basis
TA number 2 will be working 15 hours a week as a general TA and 15 hours a week supporting a child with physical needs on a 1:1 basis in KS1
Previous SEND experience is essential such as experience of working with children with social, emotional, and mental health disorders, autism, ADHD, learning difficulties, physical disabilities, attachment disorder or speech and language difficulties. Candidates who may also have a similar qualification to a L3 TA and/ or experience as an adult carer, support worker, residential carer and youth worker are encouraged to apply as they hold many transferable skills that would allow you to succeed in this role.
