The Role
We are seeking a Senior Mechatronics Engineer to join the Aero Innovation team within the Motorsports Aerodynamic Department. Your primary responsibility will be to develop mechatronic systems that enhance our aerodynamics development processes for motorsport and high-performance vehicles. You will be part of a multidisciplinary team, designing, developing, and optimizing solutions to technical challenges, contributing significantly to our competitiveness.

What You’ll Do
* Design, develop, and integrate complex mechatronic systems for automotive and aerodynamic testing.
* Create system architectures and specifications meeting or exceeding requirements.
* Collaborate with mechanical, electrical, and software engineers to develop innovative solutions.
* Work with external suppliers to evaluate and select components and technologies.
* Conduct system testing, analysis, and debugging to ensure functionality and performance.
* Oversee delivery of prototypes and production solutions, including mechanical design, PCB layout, firmware/software integration, and testing.
* Prepare and present technical reports and specifications to stakeholders.

What You’ll Need (Required Qualifications)
* Bachelor's degree in Mechatronics, Mechanical, Electrical Engineering, or related field.
* 5+ years of experience in mechatronics engineering with a proven track record.
* Strong understanding of mechanical, electrical, and software integration, and multidisciplinary system design.
* Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., Siemens NX, CATIA).
* Experience with embedded systems, microcontrollers, and programming languages (C, C++, Python).
* Hands-on experience with sensors, actuators, control systems, and power electronics.
* Ability to multitask in a dynamic environment with strong organizational and communication skills.
