As Health & Safety Manager, your responsibilities will include:
Acting as the competent person for health & safety, promoting a safe working culture across the business
Managing environmental systems and ensuring compliance with legislative requirements
Driving initiatives to improve energy efficiency, waste recycling, and reduce environmental impact
Overseeing facilities maintenance, ensuring safe, clean, and compliant workspaces
Managing relationships with suppliers, contractors, and local authorities
Leading risk assessments, audits, and accident investigations, implementing improvements where necessary
Preparing reports and KPIs for senior leadership and safety committees
Coordinating occupational health functions and supporting return-to-work plans
As Health & Safety Manager, your experience will include:
Previous experience in health & safety leadership and environmental compliance
Strong knowledge of legislative requirements and risk management
Excellent project management and organisational skills
Ability to analyse performance data and present actionable insights
Confident communication skills for liaising with internal teams and external partners
A proactive mindset and eye for detail
