Job Description
3. Assist with processing invoices and payments accurately and on time.
4. Reconcile bank accounts and financial transactions.
5. Support the preparation of monthly financial reports.
6. Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records.
7. Respond to financial queries and provide assistance where required.
8. Assist with budget tracking and expenditure monitoring.
9. Support the team with administrative tasks related to accounting and finance.
10. Ensure compliance with relevant financial regulations and policies.
The Successful Applicant
A successful Finance Assistant should have:
11. Basic knowledge of accounting principles and financial processes.
12. Proficiency in using accounting software and Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel.
13. Strong attention to detail and organisational skills.
14. A proactive approach to problem-solving and task management.
15. Ability to work effectively within a team in a not-for-profit environment.
